It is our mission to make sure that you are completely happy with your purchase from TheHandbagExchange and so we make every effort to make sure our descriptions are accurate and that the goods we sell are of the highest possible standard. We strive to provide impeccable service and goods to our customers and our returns policy is put in place for our mutual protection – so please read!
How can I place and pay for my order?
1) All online orders and payments are made using the Realex system. This is a safe and secure system. We accept Laser, Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.
2) Telephone orders can also be placed and payment made with LASER Debit Cards and all major credit cards. Contact +353 (0)86 604 2424
3) If you don’t have access to a credit card you can post your order to our postal address

Please supply both your own contact details and details and reference no.'s of the bag(s) you wish to purchase and mail your order to us along with your method of payment. We accept payment for offline orders via cheque or bank draft. Please note that offline purchases cannot be guaranteed as chosen items may sell before your order is received. In this instance your payment will be promptly returned. Offline purchase will not be shipped until payment has been cleared.
4) Our prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Stock availability
1) If, in the unlikely event that your order is not in stock, we will personally contact you and assist you in choosing another item; and/or provide you with an immediate refund.
Delivery/Shipping Information
1) All orders are packaged, shipped and delivered within 2-4 working days of placing your order.
2) We utilise registered mail for all deliveries as this gives both parties the comfort of having a ‘Track and Trace’ delivery system. While registered post is a little more expensive, it means that your order will arrive in a timely fashion and delivery is guaranteed by the post office. Upon request, we are happy to advise on courier costs for more urgent deliveries or for countries where Track and Trace postage and insurance is not an option.
3) Prices shown do not include P&P. The Shipping Costs of each item is calculated by size and weight . The delivery charge applicable to your purchase will be displayed at checkout.
4) Quite often it is easier to deliver to a work address to ensure prompt receipt of your order. If you would prefer this option, please provide a work address instead of a home address in your shipping details when using the Realex checkout. Please also provide a contact telephone number in the comments section to aid delivery.
5) Please note we cannot be responsible for shipping delays outside of our control including, but not exclusive too, postal delays, postal strikes, mis-delivery, delays due to insufficient recipient address details.
Returns
1) In accordance with The European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 97/7/EC): Prior to returning the item, you must receive a Product Return Code (PRC) from us. To receive a PRC, email us at info@TheHandbagExchange.ie
2) Please notify TheHandbagExchange within 24 hours of receiving your order if there is a problem with your purchase - otherwise it will be presumed that the customer is completely satisfied.
3) Any returns to be previously agreed via email.
4) The return postage will be the responsibility of customer.
5) Approved returns must arrive within no more than seven days from date of delivery of your order.
6) Returned items should be in the exact condition that they were sent - with all tags still intact. (We do have pictorial records of all items sent).
7) Refunds given on safe receipt (less original post & packaging charges).
8) Exchanges are subject to a €15 handling charge.
